Only single copy of the survived. The collection was published most probably without title page and dedicatee. The lack of a dedication and the Vlc part without figured bass notation have raised doubts as to whether the specimen of the printed edition of the collection Horae pomeridianae is complete. However, there are strong arguments to consider the completeness of the print (see Critical Report in the Academus Edition 4, pp. 71–72).

The single surviving copy of the print probably formerly belonged to the collection of Musikalisches Institut at Wrocław Wrocław University (the successor of the institution formerly known as Königliches Akademisches Institut für Kirchenmusik). The parts bear no signs of use, although they contain minor handwritten corrections made (with few exceptions) in ink and in all likelihood in the composer’s hand. The corrections are listed in the Critical Report of the Academus Edition 4, pp. 69–70.

The collection is listed in the Catalogus Musicaliorum [music inventory no. 2, 1720/1733], CZ-Pnm, Osek collection (Cistercians), acquisition no. 65/52, on the fol. 40r (Genialia seu Cantus recreativi): Concertus Camerales Sex. à 4. ex g Brentner.

Truska, Šimon

According to the entry in the manuscript version of his dictionary, Gottfried Johann Dlabacž learned of the existence of the collection from the Premonstratensian lay brother Šimon Josef Truska living in Strahov monastery in Prague. His copy, which is today lost, might be incomplete, as can be seen from Dlabacž's description in his dictionary.
